Learn Flash and Natural Light in 10 Mins. or Less
Have you ever wondered how people can get such nice photos? It all started with GOOD Lighting! You can have the worst camera but the nicest lighting and boom! You have a better photo than trying to do it in bad lighting!
Lighting is everything! Natural Light is always best to start off with. Walk around your house and find all the nice lighting spots, where the light comes in beautifully from a window light.
If you don’t have access to a nice big light source, then get an external flash. Here is a link to mine:
Try not to use the pop-up flash as long as you can, unless it’s a dire emergency. Try to only use natural light as best you can, or use a external flash for more flattering portraits.

Here is an examples of what I talk about in the video. The pop up flash and the direct flash is TOO harsh and unflattering!
Natural light is the best.
external flash pointed up is better, but still not the best...
flash pointed at an angle is the best.. if you don't have a good window source.
