"A Girl and Her Horse," Chesapeake Horseback Riding Horse Farm Photographer

I was asked to take pictures of a precious little girl and her favorite horses at her stable. I am a city girl that occasionally wears boots and goes "glamping" so I had no idea what I was in for!

I giveaway SO many shoots to charity and in fundraisers to my church, so I wasn't surprised that over two months ago, I got a call from someone who won this photo shoot.

Of course I couldn't find the place because my GPS is over 5 years old, but thank God for facebook messaging. I know the mom was laughing to her self after seeing all the texts that I sent her to find the place!

When I got there, I didn't know what to expect. At first, we had to stay inside the stable and warm up the horse. I couldn't wait to go outside to get some of the little girl in her element!

She was a good sport- considering that the entire field was covered in poop. But I LOVE lightroom, my editing program- because it's SO easy to take out that sort of thing in seconds!

Chesapeake is such a great little town. You have boats, rivers, the beach not too far away- and of course- HORSES! I love it!

Thank you so much for letting me come out and document such a special occasion!

Here are some of my favorite before and after shots:

I had to take out the rope that the coach was holding (above)

I added some haze- loving the black and the white (above)

do you see the poop all over the ground? haha
