Chesapeake, VA Child and Family Photographer, Cake Smash Photography, "Little M turns one."
I met Ashley through a mutual friends a kid's clothing event (of course, I love saving money and I love some FREE baby clothes!). We didn't connect then, but thank God for facebook! We got in touch right away and starting planning her little "M's" sweet one year cake smash!
We got rained out last week, but we never gave up. After 30 text messages later back and forth (sometimes through the night) to organize the cake, the decor, the outfit, the balloons, we pulled it together and had such a great time!
I loved hanging out with sweet Ashley and "D" and little "M." I was so inspired by their story of how they met. Little "M" was the coolest, chillest, sweetest little baby I've ever worked with! You could tell right away that Ashley has such a great relationship with him.
It was definitely a challenge for me- organizing all the the props and dealing with cake all over me after it was said and done, but totally worth it!
Ashley was a real inspiration to me and talk about a supermom! I can not complain about getting my kids in and out of car seats ever again!
My favorite part of the shoot was when Ashley told me that she was constantly encouraging other moms and women that have the same situation online through a facebook group. That really touched my heart to know that she was using her gifts and talents to bless others! Wow! It really made me think about how I am using mine to bless others as well!
