As a business owner, it's so tempting to think that you need to spend all this money on the Yellow Pages, Ads, Flyers and other things.

But in the internet age, you need to know how to use FREE social media venues to your advantage!

I've wasted my time on so many webinars, e-books, youtube videos on marketing.

I've wasted hundreds of dollars on Wedding Wire, Thumbtack, Facebook/Instagram ads. For what? Nothing.

I'm on Facebook live at least once a week talking about something in my business or some personal or inspirational. I blog about once a week and send it to all of my clients on my email list ( I collect everyone's email and they book a session with me so now I have over 200 emails). Then every day I'm posting an Instagram photo and sending it to my business page with a inspirational quote or a thought.

I probably spend 30 minutes a day on marketing and zero dollars and it's becoming really effective! Not only am I getting shoots often but I'm getting real clients that care about me as a person and investing in me and my photos!

So as you run your business. Remember: be consistent. Be personal and be meaningful on all your social media platforms.
