There’s ketchup on my ceiling

There’s ketchup on my ceiling

There’s paint in my hair

There’s Legos on my floor

There is mayonnaise on my chair

There’s fingerprints on my window

There’s splatters on my door

There’s a pile of clothes

on my bedroom floor.

I have no matching socks

I have too much underwear

I can’t find my favorite hat

My jacket has a tear

My cat is very naughty

My couch is all ripped up

His litter box is full

I might as well give up.

I probably should be cleaning

There is so much more to do

But we stepped outside

and saw the sky is blue

Are there is always stuff to clean

There are always things to scrub

But life is too short

Time to relax in the tub
