Food Photography 101

Food photography, we see every where- at restaurants and on pinterest. We are bombarded with good food picture photography. But did you know that you can do it too? With only a few simple steps and NO STUDIO equipment- you too can take great food. photos.

The first steps you need to know is 1. arrange the food well.

Next, always try to shoot in natural light

The background of your image is so important. Make sure it's rustic or natural.

Shooting with a prime lens is the key. They allow in so much more light and make your background creamy.

You can have fun with the images and put text on them if you leave room with empty space. This is a great idea for a website or restaurant.
